Es empfiehlt sich, die Handschuhe an den Fingerspitzen aufzuhängen und an der Luft trocknen zu lassen. Keinesfalls dürfen Handschuhe im Wäschetrockner getrocknet werden. Handschuhe nicht einfetten oder imprägnieren. (Fett ist brennbar und leitet darüber hinaus die Hitze schneller in das Handschuhinnere.)
